Education
1993-1997 - Studied and graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Higher School of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Security with honors specializing in Law.
He is a candidate Public Law for the Chair of Law at the European University in Armenia.
1999 - Completed a training course at the Academy of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, United States of America.
2003 - Completed a training course for police officers’ qualification improvement at the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
2008 - Completed a qualification improvement training course for law enforcement bodies in the sphere of the fight against human trafficking at the International Education Center of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
Awards
By the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, November 26, 2016, Mushegh Babayan was awarded the rank of Major-General of Justice
By the decree of the Chief of the RA Police, August 2, 2018, he was appointed to the position of the Head of Educational Complex of Police of the RA with the rank of Major-General of the Police.
By the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, November 21, 2013, Mushegh Babayan was awarded “Mkhitar Gosh” medal.
Awarded many departmental medals.

He is the author of five books and six scientific articles.
