The Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia Sasun Khachatryan received the delegation led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Mehdi Sobhani.
Taking into account the wide range of areas of cooperation between the two neighboring countries, the parties in this context also emphasized the establishment of partnership relations in the field of law enforcement, in particular, the possibility of forming cooperation and exchanging experience with structures performing similar functions in Iran.
Referring to the activities of the Anti-Corruption Committee, Ambassador Sobhani noted that the committee is doing important work towards creating a society free of corruption and establishing the rule of law in the country. According to the ambassador, today almost all countries face certain problems in the fight against corruption, so it is important to combine work and efforts in this area.
Ambassador Sobhani and the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee expressed hope that this meeting will help strengthening and expanding law enforcement cooperation between the two countries.
