Another introductory visit to the RA Anti-Corruption Committee of the graduates of the educational programs of the Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center (TIAC) was organized, where they were hosted by the Chairman of the Committee, Sasun Khachatryan.

The graduates talked with the Chairman of the Committee about the functions, programs and existing challenges of the Anti-Corruption Committee, as well as the types and causes of corruption, the risks and consequences of corruption in various fields, the modern methods of their prevention and fight against it.

Answering the questions of interest to the graduates Sasun Khachatryan referred to the results of the activity of the committee in the previous two years, the recruitment process and standards. The Chairman of the Committee presented to them the nature of investigative and operative work with examples of private cases, talked about the indicators of detection, listed the factors contributing to the effectiveness of the detection of corruption cases, and also referred to the existing regulations, including a number of important legislative initiatives recently developed by the Committee.

They also referred to the international cooperation and the work carried out with the law enforcement structures of different countries in the fight against corruption.
