Alumni of educational programs of the Transparency International Anticorruption Center (TIAC) visited the RA Anti-Corruption Committee and met with the Chairman of the Committee, Sasun Khachatryan within the framework of the educational initiative of the center.

Sasun Khachatryan, the Chairman of the Anti-corruption Committee presented the functions, priorities and main challenges of the structure to the visitors, talked about the features of the fight against corruption and service in the Committee.

Taking into account that some of the alumni have already started professional activities in various fields, including legal and economic, they talked with the Chairman of the Committee about issues related to corruption, its types and causes, corruption risks in various fields, and modern mechanisms of their prevention and fight.

The alumni were also interested in the cases of revealing corruption by the Committee, the characteristics of latent crimes and the fight against them. Sasun Khachatryan presented them the nature of investigative and operational work with examples of private cases, talked about the legislative regulations of the field and the importance of introducing anti-corruption education.
