On May 16, the Chairman of the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, Sasun Khachatryan, hosted Franco Sanchez-Hidalgo, the director of programmes of the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), and Olena Rodionenko, the head of the IDLO office in Yerevan.

Issues related to conducting training courses aimed at developing the professional abilities of Anti-Corruption Committee investigators and operational officers and best practice exchange programs with the involvement of international experts were discussed during the meeting within the framework of cooperation with IDLO. According to the chairman of the committee, the recently organized trainings for the officers of the structure with the support of IDLO really serve their purpose, giving tangible results and contributing to the improvement of professional skills.

Franco Sanchez-Hidalgo director of IDLO programs, who was for the first time in Armenia on a working visit, and Olena Rodionenko, the head of the Yerevan office thanked the chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee for effective cooperation and reaffirmed their readiness to support the Committee in expanding partnership relations and training with various programs, considering them important elements in the fight against corruption.
