Investigative and operational actions carried out by the RA Anti-Corruption Committee in criminal proceedings under Article 435, Part 2, Clauses 1, 3 and Article 436, Part 2, Clause 3 of the RA Criminal Code, as well as the RA National Security Service As a result of operative-investigative measures undertaken jointly with the employees of the Yerevan City Department, factual data was obtained that V. S., head of the same department K. In the course of 2022, bribes were regularly received from businessmen with a preliminary agreement with Kh.
In particular, it was found that the mentioned officials of the office of the head of Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan did not register the fact of the installation of billboards by a number of businessmen carrying out commercial activities in the territory of the same administrative district in violation of the relevant procedure and did not take responsibility for it, as well as not collecting the fee for outdoor trade in full. in return, in the period between November and December 2022, they received a total of AMD 320,000 as bribes from the mentioned businessmen.
On January 17, 2023, V. S. and K. Kh. was arrested by the investigator of the Anti-Corruption Committee on suspicion of accepting bribes.
An investigation is underway.
