Cases of offering bribes to officers of the RA Police Patrol Service for not registering administrative offenses were revealed by the criminal proceedings examined by the RA Anti-Corruption Committee.
In particular, during the preliminary investigation, it was found out that the patrolman G. P. and his two colleagues stopped the car driven by G. Sh. during the service on Komitas Avenue in Yerevan city and found out that the vehicle in question did not have a CMPTLI contract, and the driver was in an inebriated state, under the influence of alcohol. In exchange for not drawing up a protocol on the administrative offense, G. Sh. offered 20,000 AMD to patrolman G. P., which the latter did not take, warning the driver about possible criminal liability. After being urged by the patrol to refrain from offering bribes, the driver took out another 20,000 AMD from his pocket, offering 40,000 AMD as a bribe, after which he was arrested and taken to the police division.
According to the preliminary investigation of another criminal proceeding initiated by the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, the driver R. E. again offered a bribe to the RA police patrol for not registering the administrative offense committed by him.

Driver R.E. offered one of the patrolmen a bribe of 2000 AMD for not registering the offense, after which he was arrested and taken to the police division.
Drivers G. Sh. and R. E. were charged with offering bribes to patrolmen under Article 436, part 2, point 3 of the RA Criminal Code.
The preliminary investigation of the two proceedings mentioned above has been completed. The materials of the proceedings with the indictment were handed over to the supervising prosecutor with a request to approve them and send them to the court.
